Liquid Rubber DryLar® is a water-based bitumen emulsion modified by polymers. The material is applied to protect concrete structures both above ground level and below. The applied coating has no seams, junctures and protects the treated surface from the penetration of water and salt for 100%, and also protects against any chemical effects. It is used as a two-component system in combination with an inorganic salt solution to create an instantly solidification coating. The material is elastic. Allows to avoid appearance of cracks and gaps at the settlement of structures during the period of operation.
Liquid Rubber DryLar® is an alternative to usual hot applied bituminous coatings and solvent-based protective coatings, it is easier to use than a finished polymer film.
Applying DryLar®
Liquid Rubber DryLar® is applied in combination with an inorganic salt solution as a two-component instantaneous solidification system. The equipment and training are provided by Liquid Rubber.
Liquid Rubber DryLar® should be applied onto dry surfaces cleared from dirt, dust, oil and grease. The product should not be applied at the temperatures below + 5°C. DryLar® can be applied as a primer without a solution of inorganic salt.
Liquid Rubber DryLar® is applied within 1.4 – 2.5 l/m2, depending on the desired thickness of the membrane. DryLar® becomes dry to the touch in one minute and reaches full solidification within 48 hours. DryLar® does not require the use of protective fencing and you can start backfilling immediately. Usually one construction team can cover 500-750 m2 per day.
Storage and transportation of DryLar®
Various capacities are used for the storage and transportation of our products, which are available in our assortment. Euro-cubes and barrels allow product protecting reliably.
