SIL-AQUA Silicate-silicone decorative plaster with pebble texture

SIL-AQUA – a liquid mixture of mineral fillers and special polymers, which is applied by air spraying to slab bases (chipboard, OSB, DSP, plasterboard, gypsum fiber, etc.). Does not require additional painting. Ease of use, aesthetics, functionality, durability and ease of use – all the qualities necessary for an ideal result are combined in one product. The Double Dry Technology system is a combination of highly effective polymer dispersions, special additives, hydrophobic agents and premium silicate and silicone binders that create a particularly strong, homogeneous and high-density structure, as a result of which the plaster surface acquires water-repellent properties, resistance to dirt, weather resistance, high vapor permeability and low water absorption.

Applying SIL-AQUA

Applied to cement, cement-lime plasters older than 28 days and with a moisture content of less than 8%, concrete older than 3 months with a moisture content of less than 8%, a reinforced layer of an insulation system older than 3 days, gypsum bases with a moisture content of less than 1%, slab finishing materials (plasterboard , chipboard, OSB, etc.) with a steel and plastic float or by air spraying using a texture gun connected to a compressor. Working pressure 4 atmospheres, nozzles used from 4 to 6 mm.

Before use, the material is mixed with a mixer at low speed until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. To adjust the viscosity, you can add a small amount of clean water (up to 150 ml)

Before start it is necessary to remove contamination from the surface, concrete deposits, sinkholes, damage and other surface defects must be repaired. Treat surfaces affected by fungus and mold with an antifungal primer. Before applying the plaster, prime the base with priming paint, and absorbent substrates (plasterboard, gypsum plasters) also with a deep-penetrating primer. The primer paint must be tinted to match the color of the plaster or close to it to prevent color unevenness. Proceed with application only after the primer paint has completely dried. Work must be carried out at a base and ambient temperature of +5 – +25°C and a relative humidity of no more than 80%.

The material is not dangerous, non-flammable and non-toxic. Wash working tools with water, wash hands after work with warm water and soap.

Storage and transportation SIL-AQUA

For storage and transportation of our products, containers that are available in our assortment are used. Pails can reliably protect the products. Storage and transportation is carried out at a temperature not lower than +5°C
